Performance crankshaft pulley cover / overlay – Mercedes-Benz M111 Kompressor / Eaton M62

Performance overlay designed for the crankshaft pulley in Mercedes-Benz M111 2.0 and 2.3 Kompressor engines equipped with the Eaton M62 supercharger.

Increasing the diameter of the crankshaft drive pulley changes the system gear ratio and increases the rotational speed of the supercharger. This improves the response of the forced induction system and increases its efficiency without the need to replace the entire supercharger.

The product is intended for both stock vehicles and modified performance projects.

Compatible superchargers

The product is designed for selected versions of the Eaton M62 supercharger used with Mercedes-Benz M111 engines.

Before purchasing, please verify:

• the car's model and year of production;

• engine code;

• the supercharger's OE number;

• type of crankshaft pulley installed;

• mounting method;

• current supercharger drive configuration.

This product is not intended for M111 EVO engines equipped with the Eaton M45 supercharger, unless compatibility has been confirmed individually beforehand.

How it works

The increased diameter of the crankshaft drive pulley increases the operating speed of the Eaton M62 supercharger.

This can provide:

Recommended supplementary modifications

When running the supercharger at increased speeds, we recommend:

• using a more efficient intercooler;

• inspecting the condition of the Eaton M62 supercharger;

• checking the supercharger oil;

• checking the intake system for leaks;

• checking the air filter;

• checking the belt tensioner and idler pulleys;

• using a properly selected belt;

• monitoring engine parameters under load.

The correct belt length must be chosen based on the pulley diameter and the specific configuration of the vehicle.

Installation

Installation should be performed by a workshop experienced in modifying Mercedes-Benz Kompressor engines.

Before starting the engine, please check:

• correct seating of the overlay;

• alignment of all pulleys;

• condition of the crankshaft pulley;

• condition of the belt, tensioner, and pulleys;

• correct belt routing;

• that the belt does not come into contact with other accessory components.

Incorrect installation or an improperly selected belt can damage the supercharger drive system.
